Advantec Glass Fiber Thimble Filters are seamless and are made of 100% Borosilicate glass. The thimbles are acid washed to reduce the trace metal content to an absolute minimum.

Grade No.86R are recommended for use in extractors and dust monitoring devices where temperatures would approach 500ºC or where acid resistance is required (except hydrofluoric acid).
