Flyer Kinetik heavy-duty steering linkage component obtained from surplus inventory from a Canadian municipal transit operator. This appears to be a greaseable tie rod end or drag link end designed for use on a New Flyer transit bus steering system.
The part was still sealed in its original Kinetik packaging when received. It includes the castellated retaining nut and has a protective mesh sleeve over the threaded connection. No manufacturer or application number is stamped on the housing. The only visible markings are “0838” on the dust cap.
